DNS Exercise 3 – New York City

Course Description

Course Objectives

-Review the physiological framework for the DNS principles

-Detailed definition of optimal postural stabilization, stepping forward (reaching, grasping, kicking) and supporting (taking off) function

-The most common painful syndromes in various types of athletes, pathology in:
1. Shoulder girls (rotator cuff, impingement, biceps, tendinitis)
2. Elbow problems (epicondylitis)
3. Pelvic girdle (hip joint pain, groin problems)
4. Knee (ACL injury, meniscus lesions, jumper’s knee)
5. Foot
6. Case studies
7. Examples of the most common sports and how to apply DNS principles based on the Discuss & demonstrate DNS exercises for specific sport techniques: throwing, jumping, stroke, skating etc and sport context: running/sprinting, throwing sports (Baseball, Tennis, Basketball, Shot Put, etc), kicking/soccer, swimming, cycling, golf

Cancellation Policy

-A service fee of $75 will apply for all cancellations.
-Refunds will not be issued within 30 days of the seminar date.
-Registration may be transferred to a different eligible part with 30 days notices

Certification in DNS Exercise Course

To ensure adequate practice with clients, this practical test can only be taken one year after completion of the first DNS course (either DNS Exercise I or DNS A). You may still choose to take DNS Exercise III prior to that 1-year span. However, if you wish to take the trainer certification practical test, you will have to re-take Level III again and sit for the test. Also, completing an online test after DNS exercise II is a prerequisite for taking the practical test at DNS Exercise III course. When you earn your certification, you can choose to have your name listed on the Prague School Rehabilitation website for a one-time fee of 20 Euros. You are required to take at least 1 DNS course every 3 years to retain your certification status.

CEU Policy

-Motus Education applies for CEUs for licensed chiropractors in the state of this course as standard practice.
-We agree to apply for CEUs for additional states/professions, if there is sufficient time (Based on each states’ rules).
-If you requires CEUs for your state and profession, please inform Motus Education of your CE needs at the time of registration.
